London Blues Revue
The London Blues Revue returns on Saturday 10th November with blues legend Dana Gillespie and The Cinelli Brotthers. This event will also be recorded to be part of a live album and documentary.
Don’t miss a great night of Blues!
Doors open at 7.30pm, music from 8pm till 11pm.
The London Blues Revue is back for another great night of Blues in Hoxton Square on Saturday 9th February 2019 with the great Kyla Brox, Tom Julian Jones, The Cinelli Bothers and Greg Miller.
KYLA BROX
Kyla’s voice remains a stunning example of the soul singer’s art: turning up the heat by degrees, lulling and charming before unleashing emotional catharsis, and blurring the distinction between pleasure and pain like the soul greats of old. Whether fronting the mighty Kyla Brox Band, or harnessing undiluted soul power in a duo with musical and life partner Danny Blomeley, Kyla Brox is without doubt the most authentic UK blues and soul singer of her generation.
“Her breathing control is superb but, more than this… Kyla’s vocal is natural and very clean… [with] a depth of feeling…” - Blues Matters
TOM JULIAN JONES - Tom JJ is an exciting, up and coming Blues artist from South London. Over the last six years, since he could legally get into the venues, Tom has been making a name for himself on the vibrant London Blues scene with his original songs and a mix of traditional Chicago style and foot stomping Texas Blues.
THE CINELLI BROTHERS
The Cinelli Brothers is a project born out of a common passion for the electric Chicago and Texas blues from the 60s and 70s, when Marco (guitarist, singer and composer), Alessandro (drummer, backing vocalist and arranger) and Enzo Strano (Bass) decided to form an explosive team showcasing original repertoire in the style of Chess, Stax and Motown. The Cinelli Brothers champion a new generation of passionate musicians sharing in the love of Blues, Soul, R&B and the true authentic sounds that have made the blues a cornerstone of music history.
Greg Miller is a vocalist and multi-award winning harmonica player. Greg left France in 2010 to settle in London. Devoting his energy to his musical progress, he took part in several endeavours. In 2011, he was named Blues Harmonica Player of the Year at the National Harmonica League, and in 2013, won the title of Jazz World Harmonica Champion.
