Olga Stezhko: Debussy in Hoxton
AND THE MOON DESCENDS – DEBUSSY IN HOXTON
In the adventurous spirit of the turn of 20th century Paris, some of London’s brightest talents in classical music, jazz, craft beer and illustration will collaborate to bring Debussy’s music to Zigfrid for the first time. Award-winning classical pianist Olga Stezhko joins forces with jazz icon Byron Wallen (trumpet, gamelan), London’s maverick microbrewery Partizan Brewing (#debussybeer) and Alec Doherty (illustration) in a one-off ‘feast for the senses’ crossover event. Fusing French and Indonesian influences, this creative partnership is inspired by Olga’s new all-Debussy album ‘Et la lune descend’.
